Hair Update! (and other plans)


Yay for September! You know, I was feeling pretty crappy in all of August because I was thinking my hair was never going to bounce back. That is...until I took my monthly picture and I actually see growth!!! You're going to be seeing a lot of these same progression pics lol

I see real growth!!! I am pretty happy! There is no July pic because the one pic i took was in the bathroom mirror and realized too late that my bedroom is the perfect place to take the same progression pic every month. The things I have been consistently doing that i am confident that helped was continuing in taking my iron supplements, massaging my scalp, water consumption and watching what I eat...protein intake in particular. And of course, waiting it out. I feel slightly better. I can even tell i have hair growth when I am in the shower. When I wring my hair out, I can feel slightly more fullness. I still have a way to go though.

Other things I have planned is that I want to aim to lose 20ish pounds by the end of the year. I'm content that I probably won't but any loss I will be satisfied with as long as I don't gain.

Another goal is to actually do to challenges that will eventually be aimed to be permanent: 30 day gua sha to slim down my face and do a leg exercise challenge to grow my butt. From that Daisy Ieech bubble butt challenge that was trendy years ago that I am finally finding out recently. If I am successful in both, I will make posts about it! Third, I will test more walking apps to see which is worth downloading. Starting today!
