May Hair Growth
No pictures this month. It is currently April 7th as of this writing and I fucked up by not taking and saving my hair growth pictures. My fault but I feel like it is already too late. If I change my mind I'll post it tomorrow. For now I'll list my changes.
I noticed in the month of April, my hair started to become way more soft and silky now. I shower every morning this whole time so I know it wasn't the frequency for the reason.
Not exactly sure what to account for this but I am glad my hair doesn't feel straw like anymore. Could be anywhere from my body finally feeling the effects of eating better, new shampoo that best fits my hair needs or the new product from garnier fructis I started using last week. No clue!!!
Just so I don't forget, here is what I have been consistently using:
Often out of the shower I spritz my hair with one or both of these sprays:
I felt like 2 or 3 days after using this product my hair started to dry much more silkier. I started working about a month ago so my hair dries completely differently since I shower and leave the house within an hour with damp hair. Back when I just stayed in the apartment (yes, I use those terms interchangeably but apt is more accurate) my hair fried way too rough and straw like. Could be due to my head resting on the couch? Took me just under a month of working again to notice a change in my hair.
Bad news though is that I noticed my hair got a massive shedding again. I noticed my hair in the shower drain, my brush needing to be de-haired on a way more frequent basis and obviously when I look in the mirror, the loss is pretty evident. You could already tell in my previous post it has been thinning.
I don't know why except for 2 theories.
1.) I stopped taking biotin supplements. I looked it up and hair loss could be a side effect from stopping it. I was not taking much to begin with so this is just speculation.
2.) I massaged my head too hard. I took the advice of Reddit that I should use my fingers to scalp massage myself multiple times a day to help stimulate growth. I also read that it has potential to agitate the follicles too much which can also cause hair loss. I must admit, I did massage my head pretty aggressively for a long time. I am most convinced this is why.
I stopped cold turkey but the damage is done.
Now I feel like I am back to square one.
